This year, the Dancing House celebrates 30 years since its creation. A building that once stood as a bold gesture of a new era remains today one of the symbols of a free Prague – while continuing to live and evolve with the city.
PSN’s anniversary programme returns to the values at the heart of its origin: openness, the ability to evoke emotion, and the belief that architecture should have a public dimension. The building was never intended as a closed object, but as a place people come to – for views, culture, and everyday experiences.
The celebrations will begin with an anniversary exhibition in the gallery, followed by events along the embankment in June. The anniversary year thus connects architecture with public space – true to the spirit in which the Dancing House was conceived.
