Vinohradská 8 featured at this year’s DesignBlok Talks conference. Jaroslav Macháč, Head of Sales at PSN, and Tomáš Popadič of Penta Real Estate presented the project as part of the Future of Architecture programme. Their presentation also marked the first public unveiling of the winning artwork proposal for this joint development.
Vinohradská 8 took its place in a programme exploring the future of architecture, bringing architects, developers and other professionals together on one stage. The project will combine new homes, offices and retail spaces with a green atrium and a pedestrian passage. Art will also form an integral part of the development, contributing to its distinctive sense of place.
Jaroslav Macháč also spoke about how sales at Vinohradská 8 are progressing and what buyers expect from a development of this kind. He highlighted that art is increasingly seen as a natural part of such projects, reflecting buyers’ interest in the character of the place and the quality of the spaces beyond their own homes.
It was at DesignBlok Talks that we first introduced the winner of the competition to create an artwork for Vinohradská 8: Avant Grid, with its proposal Palimpsest. The unveiling opened a new chapter for a project that will bring architecture, art and everyday life together at one new address.
