On September 18, Brno became a hub for discussions about the future. The Forbes Next Big Thing conference took place at Fait Gallery, bringing together visionaries from technology, business, science, and architecture. Representing PSN, Petr Pospíšil, Director of the Brno branch, spoke alongside Karel Watzka from the A8000 studio. Their panel was dedicated to Brno – a city on the brink of major transformation.
Questions were raised: What will Brno look like in 2030? How will it change with a new central train station, a new philharmonic hall, or a multifunctional arena? And what does it mean for our projects, particularly for Brno Jedna?
The discussion also touched on what makes Brno unique compared to other cities, where it lags behind, and how these factors affect both everyday life and investment opportunities. Housing issues were not left aside either – rising prices, the demands of a new generation, and the growing importance of rental housing were all on the agenda.
The conference highlighted that Brno not only has a rich history but also the courage to plan its future. And it showed that now is the right time to talk about what our cities will look like in ten years.
