On the last weekend of August, the riverfront by the Dancing House will come alive with dance, movement and contemporary circus. On 29 and 30 August 2026, Tančírna will welcome the public for a two-day programme packed with dance classes, demonstrations and acrobatic performances for children and adults alike. The event is being held to mark the 30th anniversary of the Dancing House, offering a chance to celebrate this iconic Prague landmark in a slightly different way – outdoors on the riverfront and in motion.
Starting at 11 am, visitors can try bachata, street dance and Latin dance under the guidance of professional instructors. The programme will also feature dance classes for children, demonstrations of different dance styles and interviews with the instructors. Hat Jazz and Hula Hoops performances will add to the atmosphere, while each evening will culminate in an acrobatic show – Handstand on Saturday and Duo ReAct on Sunday. The entire programme is presented by Losers Cirque Company, whose work brings together contemporary circus, acrobatics, dance and physical theatre.
