The PULSE conference is one of the key events bringing together architects, urban planners, and professionals from creative industries across Central Europe. This year, we took part for the second time. PSN was represented by Štěpán Smrčka, who, together with Rudolf Vacek from Penta Real Estate, presented one of the most compelling new addresses in Prague – Vinohradská 8.
The Vinohradská 8 project is rising on the former Transgas site, right next to Czech Radio and just a few steps from Wenceslas Square. An area that for decades functioned as a closed-off block will transform into an open, naturally walkable part of the city. It will newly connect Vinohrady with central Prague, restoring the site’s original urban significance.
Vinohradská 8 combines residential and office functions with high-quality amenities and thoughtfully designed public space. The project will bring nearly 200 apartments oriented towards a quiet courtyard, complemented by restaurants and boutique retail. It will also offer 7 500 m² of office space, introducing a modern and sustainable work environment to this central district.
