We have completed the acquisition of an office building at Botanická 56 in the Brno-Veveří cadastral area. The acquisition reinforces PSN’s strategy of strengthening its presence in the Brno market and identifying properties with potential for future development. Existing lease agreements remain unchanged, with AQUATIS a.s., part of the SAFICHEM GROUP industrial group, continuing as a major tenant of the building.
“We want to continue growing in Brno over the long term and build a strong portfolio. The acquisition of the building on Botanická Street is another concrete step in this direction. The property is located in an attractive area and, in our view, offers interesting potential for the future,” says Petr Pospíšil, Director of PSN Brno.
The office building is located in the sought-after Brno-Veveří area, with a full range of amenities nearby, including urban green spaces. The property will continue to operate in its current form over the coming years, and AQUATIS will remain a tenant.
“The sale of the building on Botanická Street is the result of a long-term strategic decision by SAFICHEM GROUP. We believe the new owner will make full use of both the property’s potential and its attractive location,” adds Lucie Svobodová of SAFICHEM.
In the longer term, PSN is considering transforming the property into a residential development. Preparatory work is tentatively planned to begin in 2029. The specific form of the property’s future use will be determined based on further analyses and project planning.
In Brno, PSN is currently developing Brno Jedna, a new mixed-use district, and preparing residential projects on Komárovské nábřeží, Juliánovské náměstí and in the Brno-Cejl area. The company continues to seek further opportunities that contribute to the city’s development and expand the supply of high-quality housing.
