PSN’s traditional New Year’s party is, every year, an opportunity for us to meet outside the workplace, look back on the past year, and spend an evening together in a pleasant atmosphere. At the same time, it has long had another dimension – we always connect it with supporting an organisation that makes sense and helps where it is needed.
This year, we decided to support the Brno-based organisation Centrum společného zájmu. It works with socially excluded people of all ages, not only from the Roma community. It offers educational, leisure and cultural activities, while also providing essential information and professional support to those who find themselves in a difficult life situation. Its aim is to promote social inclusion and contribute to positive change in the lives of individuals and entire families.
PSN donated 250 000 Kč to the foundation, and during the evening, guests contributed an additional 32 700 Kč. In total, we presented the Centrum společného zájmu Interest with 282 700 Kč, which the organization will use to support its ongoing activities and specific programs.
Thank you to everyone who took part – whether through a donation or simply by being there. We truly appreciate it, and we are glad that thanks to gatherings like this we can provide long-term support to initiatives with real impact.
